YDA Group Won the Tender for Dalaman Airport

YDA Group won the tender for the next 26-years’ operational  rights of  Dalaman Airport’s  domestic terminals and  supplements for 705 million euros + VAT by offering the highest bid of 705 million euros in the tender.

Chairman of Tenders Committee, Zafer Topuz, declared  that among the four companies (TAV Holding, Limak GMR, YDA Group, Fraport -IC)  that placed bids, YDA Group secured the tender by offering  the highest  bid. The tender covers the transfer of operational rights until 2040.

200 Million Euro Investment

After the auction YDA Group Chairman Hüseyin Arslan said “We will invest  180 to 200 million euros which will be  made by the project financing” . Chairman of Tenders Committee  Zafer Topuz said “We are waiting for the outcome of the tender in a month; the winner of  the tender will  take over to operate domestic terminal first; after April 28th 2015 it will start to operate international terminal also .

The tender started with 350 million euros bid.  Limak-GMR withdrew from the auction on the second round after offering 450 million euros. The auction continued with the remaining three companies. On the third round 640 million euros was bided and Fraport-IC İçtaş withdrew from the auction. On the following round TAV Holding withdrew from the auction and YDA Group was announced as the winner of the tender with 705 million euros bid.
